How Video Generation Works

The end-to-end process from topic selection to finished video.

Generation pipeline

VidLoop's video generation is a multi-step pipeline that takes you from a topic to a finished MP4 video. The entire process is automated but gives you control at every stage.

Topic selection

When you click Generate Video, the AI automatically generates a topic based on your business profile, niche, and content history. It checks your last 10 drafts to avoid repeating topics.

You can also provide a custom topic if you have something specific in mind. Simply type your topic before confirming generation.

Content creation

Based on the topic and your selected template, the AI generates:

Hook slide — an attention-grabbing opening
Content slides — the main body with key points, tips, or information
CTA slide — a call-to-action to drive engagement

Each slide includes text content, an image prompt (for background selection), and animation settings. The number of slides is determined by your template configuration.

Rendering

After content generation, VidLoop renders the video using Remotion on AWS Lambda. This produces a high-quality 9:16 MP4 video optimized for mobile platforms.

Rendering typically takes 15–60 seconds depending on the number of slides and current queue load. Pro and Agency plans get priority rendering.

Credit usage

1 credit is deducted when rendering starts. If the render fails, the credit is automatically refunded.

Output

The finished video appears in your Videos library with a "Ready" status. From there you can:

Play it in the built-in video player
Download it as an MP4
Share it to connected social accounts
Schedule it for future publishing
