Knowledge Packs

What are knowledge packs?

Knowledge packs are collections of documents that give the AI deeper context about your business. When attached to a template, the AI uses this knowledge to generate more accurate, relevant content.

For example, you might upload your product catalog, FAQ document, or brand guidelines to help the AI create videos that accurately represent your offerings.

Upload documents

To add documents to a knowledge pack:

1. Go to Assets → Knowledge
2. Click on a pack or create a new one
3. Click Upload Documents
4. Select your files

VidLoop extracts and indexes the text content for use in AI generation.

Supported formats

• PDF — text is extracted automatically
• TXT — plain text files
• MD — Markdown files

Using in video generation

Knowledge packs are integrated into the AI content generation through a vector store. When a template has a knowledge pack attached:

• The AI searches the knowledge base for relevant information
• Relevant content is included in the generation prompt
• This results in videos that reflect your actual products, services, and messaging

Attach a knowledge pack to a template from the template editor under the knowledge section.
