What are image packs?

Image packs are collections of background images used in your videos. When VidLoop generates a video, it selects background images from the asset pack assigned to the template's nodes.

Using curated image packs ensures your videos maintain consistent, on-brand visuals without relying on stock photos.

Create a pack

To create a new image pack:

  1. Go to Assets → Assets tab
  2. Click Create Pack
  3. Enter a name and optional description
  4. Upload your images

You can also create a pack from selected images. Browse the global image library, select images using the checkboxes, and click Create Pack from Selection.

Upload images

Upload images to any custom pack by clicking Upload Assets within the pack view. VidLoop accepts common image formats (JPEG, PNG, WebP).

Image quality

For best results, use high-resolution images (at least 1080x1920 for vertical video). VidLoop will crop and position images to fit the 9:16 frame.

The Images sub-tab shows all images across all packs with infinite scroll. You can:

  • Search images by description and metadata
  • Select multiple images for batch operations
  • Preview images in a full-screen lightbox
  • Add selected images to existing packs

System packs

VidLoop provides built-in system packs with curated images across various categories. System packs are read-only — you can use them in templates but cannot modify or delete them.
